American teams out of Arbalet Cup

Evil Geniuses and compLexity have both been shown the exit door at Inferno Online after finishing outside top two of their respective groups.

Both teams had bet big on this tournament, but will have to think this tournament through as they are out on day one.

Things did not look good for EG after a 22-8 defeat to UNiTED, but a 15-15 draw with WeMade FOX earned them a lifeline. Hower, and despite beating SK Gaming 24-6 in their last group encounter, the draw between Russians and South Koreans made it that EG will have to content themselves with third place.

compLexity got off to a promising start, forcing mousesports to just a 16-14 win, but they were just too soft in their second group match, which allowed H2k Gaming to post a 19-11 victory. In their last match, against PinG, a 15-15 draw made them finish at the foot of the table.

The tournament will now move on to Groups A and D, where the likes of Na´Vi and fnatic will be in action.
